We women have a lot to learn about simplifying our lives. We have to decide what is important and then move along at a pace that is comfortable for us. We have to develop the maturity to stop trying to prove something. We have to learn to be content with what we are." ~Marjorie Pay Hinckley~

Learning Takes all Forms

Whether we were placing body organs onto paper, helping one of my young women drive the robot at a local S.T.E.M. Night, paint on the patio with Dad, playing Perfection together til the timer pops, we were learning things together. We even found out that a local performance hall offers free shows once a month on Wednesdays around 4pm, when most people are still rushing home from school, getting homework done, etc. Turns out, the place gets packed by OLD people, who are regulars, and were surprised to see such a young kid there. Dad carried him piggy back out to the truck to ride home with him after the creative dance show, and I caught the moment on my camera before I too drove home. I'm so grateful that Lukas has such a doting dad. Oh, and in case you're wondering, Lukas is playing music on the bananas. Crazy, huh?
