We women have a lot to learn about simplifying our lives. We have to decide what is important and then move along at a pace that is comfortable for us. We have to develop the maturity to stop trying to prove something. We have to learn to be content with what we are." ~Marjorie Pay Hinckley~

Grandma Came to Visit

Mom came out to visit us! We went to an archery range to brush up before camp. I'd post pictures, but my phone got stolen. :(. We found a great bar-b-q place and made pigs of ourselves with pulled pork and onion rings. MMMmmmm. After Girl's Camp, we went to Oceanside Harbor to climb out on the jetty. Sadly, there weren't any Seastars clinging to the rocks this time, but it was fun to explore and show mom all the cool places where I hang out with Lukas. She got him ice cream and played with him in the surf. She brought him some sandtoys and built sandcastles with him. I thought it'd be a dry day at the beach, but when has that actually ever worked? So here he is- pantless. And having the time of his life.
With grandma.  =)
