We women have a lot to learn about simplifying our lives. We have to decide what is important and then move along at a pace that is comfortable for us. We have to develop the maturity to stop trying to prove something. We have to learn to be content with what we are." ~Marjorie Pay Hinckley~

Visiting Teaching Done for the Month

That first picture is my friend Job. Her name is really Jen Atherton, but she has the patience of Job, and makes amazing cakes. Which is a really good thing since the lady I visit teach called me on Tuesday, asking me to help her throw a wedding reception on Saturday. That's 4 days people. So luckily, being Mormon, there are always white table cloths in the Relief Society Room, lots of tables on the stage, lots of vases & materials in the YW closet, and someone talented enough to decorate cakes. And for the rest there's Costco Good thing Jen's husband is her home teacher, right?  Here, then, is a last minute wedding reception for a couple already together 14 years, but getting officially married so the husband can get baptized. Thank you Jared for cutting cake like a rockstar and being my right hand man. Whew.
