The kids performed Hansel & Gretel. Lukas was a tree. A very cute tree. With psycho hair. Who sings really well!
Sometimes, it felt completely rewarding and the accolades from grateful parents were nice to hear. But then there were days where either Lukas or I were sick, and we had to go anyways since there were no substitutes. And because it was every.single.Saturday, we began to feel drained of the marrow of life. We'd buy Little Caesars Pizza on the way home and head straight to the pool, just to eek out some leisurely experience for the week! haha. But teaching was fun. And I loved seeing the kids grow and progress. I felt like I was really getting somewhere with them, and with the program as a whole. Jared and I even got asked to give a seminar to all the other GASA teachers in the summer. We are so pressed for time, but we love what we are good at, and like suckers said yes, we'd be there. So, Here are some pictures from this year to remember the crazy times together.
