We women have a lot to learn about simplifying our lives. We have to decide what is important and then move along at a pace that is comfortable for us. We have to develop the maturity to stop trying to prove something. We have to learn to be content with what we are." ~Marjorie Pay Hinckley~

Music & Writing Practice

Since September, Lukas has been attending a class called "Let's Play Music". It's apparently in quite a few places, and teaches basic music theory, etc through songs and games. Now he can tell you which lines and spaces the notes fall on, and play simple tunes based on the pattern of the black dots on his xylophone (or piano when we leave the bells in the car on accident!) using solfege music language. It's pretty cool! I can't believe what he can do now after 3 months! Since Jared is home, and music is part of Lukas' morning chores, Lukas taught Jared how to use his note magnets and how to play his bells. Cute!
