We women have a lot to learn about simplifying our lives. We have to decide what is important and then move along at a pace that is comfortable for us. We have to develop the maturity to stop trying to prove something. We have to learn to be content with what we are." ~Marjorie Pay Hinckley~

Date with mom - Little Mermaid

He was a perfect Gentleman! We talked about being a good date. Asking how I'm doing sometimes. He learned what "going dutch" means so he doesn't go broke someday, and what gentlemen do. (And how you don't go til you're 16 so that you can drive, otherwise I will drive and will be next to him the whole time, and who would want that?) I was so happy to see him order our tickets, pay for them with my credit card, give them to the ticket man, then buy us a snack and water at intermission. He felt pretty awesome. And please, with sour patch kids as a four year old? Who wouldn't! haha. He LOVED the show, and later wanted to act it out as home: "You're Ariel Mama. Sing!" Then amongst the ahhh ahh ahh ahhhhhhhhh notes was heard this hearty "KEEP SINGING" from my favorite deep voiced 4 yr old. Hahaha! Priceless.
