We women have a lot to learn about simplifying our lives. We have to decide what is important and then move along at a pace that is comfortable for us. We have to develop the maturity to stop trying to prove something. We have to learn to be content with what we are." ~Marjorie Pay Hinckley~

Thanksgiving

Prep for the big game began days before. When the big day came, traditional donuts were bought, cleats were tied on, and turkeys were being roasted. Our entire family played this year, and we had such a great time! I even threw a touchdown pass to one of my YW, Odessa! Sure did enjoy ourselves! And no injuries! (Whew!)

The sweet Woolley Family invited us over for Thanksgiving dinner again this year. Now it's kind of tradition! I work with Dayna in the young womens organization and she's so sweet to have us over to her huge table with the big long benches. Lukas got to feed the guinea pig, Patch, and play all evening. Shoot! We even game Monopoly a fair chance! Ha! I love the picture of Hyrum with his mom, showing off the lattice-work on the pie that he created himself. There are 5 kids in their family, and although it's hectic at times, etc, the kids are smart, well-mannered, and know how to do things! What a neat family-such GOOD people!!!
