We women have a lot to learn about simplifying our lives. We have to decide what is important and then move along at a pace that is comfortable for us. We have to develop the maturity to stop trying to prove something. We have to learn to be content with what we are." ~Marjorie Pay Hinckley~

Mormon Helping Hands

The goodness of children. They ran from apartment to apartment, hoping to see a bag left out for them to pick up. At first there were hardly any, and I began to wonder if they kids would get discouraged. But to see their faces at the first, then second bag, then so on... was amazing. Their eyes would light up, they'd grin and want to get it down the stairs all by themselves. We took the collection in our car so that Lukas could see all the other helpers, and the mountains of collected food, at the food bank. He felt part of something big, and felt the joy of showing love to others by collecting food for them!
