We women have a lot to learn about simplifying our lives. We have to decide what is important and then move along at a pace that is comfortable for us. We have to develop the maturity to stop trying to prove something. We have to learn to be content with what we are." ~Marjorie Pay Hinckley~

Artwork Digital Save

Pictures so that these can find a happy place in File 13 someday, and not in piles of hoarder stacks in my house when I'm 80, have died, and nobody can find me in heaps of stuff I've kept for 50 years.

As Lukas and I were sick for about 3 weeks in the San Diego "winter" we did lots of crafty things. By crafty, I mean playing with paper, glue, yarn, sand, rice, beans, and whatever else would stick on there. Candy sprinkles were a favorite, along with sparkly glue. I was digging the fine motor skill practice, while he would get excited everytime we'd dump of excess whatever into the catch-all cookie sheet! Wha-la- art work! A favorite is that one with the "mountains" (practicing M without knowing it) and he laughed when I drew little stick people hiking up and down the sides of the peaks. Hee hee! I also loved his Halloween creations... especially the spooky red glitter glue with black beans attached. Kinda gory, but fitting for the holiday.
