We women have a lot to learn about simplifying our lives. We have to decide what is important and then move along at a pace that is comfortable for us. We have to develop the maturity to stop trying to prove something. We have to learn to be content with what we are." ~Marjorie Pay Hinckley~

die Bucherei (Library)

It had been one of those mornings.  See?  Then the lady we (Lukas and I) visit teach and love to hang out with, called us. We were on for a trip to the library. Susan couldn't have been happier that the theme of the day was cats, and that the author of a book had a name from her family history. She even had her cat shirt on! Perfect! Afterward the children could color a picture of a cat trying to catch a fish from a bowl. Notice that Lukas' picture is covered with black and blue crayon. It was, he says, so that the cat couldn't see the fish and couldn't catch him.  Green Peace, we have another member for your Coalition on Saving the Fish right here in the library. And as if the amazingly decorated and FULL of books part wasn't enough, they too had the wonderful library computer programs Lukas loves, like "Grandma and Me" in German, and Arthur- the same story we read at home. It's the little things. And he had a ball. Thank you to Susan Hall.
