Had a fun morning with the Pookster, reading books while cuddled on the couch, jammin' & dancin' to German kids' music in the living room, riding bikes in the parking lot, having picnic on the beach towel on a piece of landscaped grass in the complex, rolling down the grass hill by the house, followed by a search for imaginary moon mice that kept being put into my hands/pockets/bags, and of course collecting snail houses- real ones.
It's fun to see a kid so happy.
Until he wasn't so happy to go to bed. Gnashing of teeth would be a good way to describe it. When he's done, he's so over-done. That one last papaya. And to think, just 2 hours before he was laying on the lovey doveys and sillies.
ich: "Vertraust du mir?" (als ich nach Autos geschaut habe beim Fahrrad fahren)
Lukas: Ich habe ein kleines Gefuehl das es ja ist.
After the neighbor lady said I was a good mom for letting my kid roll down the grassy hill, Lukas agreed. When I asked him why I'm a good mom he just said, 'Weil ist's DU!'
