We women have a lot to learn about simplifying our lives. We have to decide what is important and then move along at a pace that is comfortable for us. We have to develop the maturity to stop trying to prove something. We have to learn to be content with what we are." ~Marjorie Pay Hinckley~

Letter R

This week Lukas has seen RAINBOWS/REGENBOGEN in the water from the firehose and painted on his easel, pink and yellow ROSES from his bike on the way to/from the park, RICECAKES and RAISINS as snacks, Henri ROUSSEAU's painting of the Tiger in the Storm, our newest library book: The RAIN Stomper, and a youtube video of Maurice RAVEL's piece Bolero being performed by an orchestra in France (which was AWEsome and brought back all these memories of playing it in the county band a LONG time ago!).  Also discovered Starfall.com to practice the letter of this week (and of course we saw an episode of Mr. ROGERS).

Your kid is so lucky to have such an artistic mom! There is no way I could draw some of the things you drew. You are awesome.

Lukas is such a lucky little boy to have such a creative mom! I think she got it from me - just kidding! You keep this up and this little guy can't help but be brilliant!
