We women have a lot to learn about simplifying our lives. We have to decide what is important and then move along at a pace that is comfortable for us. We have to develop the maturity to stop trying to prove something. We have to learn to be content with what we are." ~Marjorie Pay Hinckley~

All's Well that Ends Well

He did it!!! Jared graduated from Sac State University with his teaching credential to teach High School German. Time to celebrate! We got this awesome photographer with a cute one year old to snap some pics before we left. Here's a behind-the-scenes picture for the wedding slideshow someday :)  Lukas and I parked ourselves in the front row of the Sacramento Kings Basketball stadium, complete with goldfish and sippy-cup holders!!! Who knew??!!  The famous music played and we kept looking and looking and looking for Papili. Lukas kept saying : Keine Sorgen Mama. Papa kommt bald! Then we saw him, and turns out he was virtually right in front of where we were sitting!! (Which was also right next to a camera man and a huge TV screen for the grads to see). Jared and this little man made it onto the jumbo tron at least twice on this night, once when Jared snuck over really quick to give Lukas a hug & kiss, and later at the end when Jared came and scooped him up to sit the rest of the boringness out on his lap. Lukas is kind of like his cohort's mascot, so he was greeted by a lot of high fives and smiles, like eager children awaiting a huge masked furry, costumed adult. And it was on the Jumbo-Tron. A touch of fame at only three. Oh boy. But Lukas was happy as could be out there on the floor, just beaming to sit on Papa's lap. We're so proud of everything Jared went through to finish his 52 credit program in two semesters. It was stressful, to say the least, and we are ALL grateful that it is successfully over. And that we all still like each other :)
