That's why I'm sure he can't wait til his party where everyone will do Ring-Around-the Rosies til they all sit down, and all sing him Happy Birthday and watch him blow out the candles on his jillionth birthday cupcake (blueberry muffins). And I melt. Right along side that candle. Every time that grin spreads across that face from ear to ear. We all feel happy together- the very essense of Doctrine & Covenants 50- light becometh light, we edify one another- just a most gratifying feeling that I never got from being a professional teacher- because this kiddo is mine for eternity. The weight of responsibility is different. The day to day pressure is different. The needs are different. The payouts are in greater dividends. The rewards are priceless and recorded for posterity.
