We women have a lot to learn about simplifying our lives. We have to decide what is important and then move along at a pace that is comfortable for us. We have to develop the maturity to stop trying to prove something. We have to learn to be content with what we are." ~Marjorie Pay Hinckley~

Lukas seems fascinated by Struppi!

German Engineering- already!

If you have never heard of this, or seen one yourself, come over and check it out. It's this super cool, sleek, ergonomically made car for little kids. Lukas is not yet 8 months old and can totally sit on it! Check him out! He looks SO OLD, doesn't he?? We totally wanted a Bobby Car for Lukas once we saw one! Thanks Oma & Opa for shipping it over!! He loves it!

SUPERMOM

We ate breakfast.
Together.
Lukas ate homemade organic baby food.
Steamed and pureed it last night.
By myself.
Four pots on the stove at once and sweet potatoes in the oven.
Good thing he likes carrots!
Little man is sleeping now.
The laundry is in three separate washers.
I am on a domestic high.

TOOTH FAIRY showed up this week!

NOV 15th- First one CAME in! (left)
Nov 17th- Second One came in! (right)
Now we have a little tiger with two jaggedy new teeth!! Rough and ready for action!
Yay Lukas!! You've been such a good boy too! We are so stinkin' lucky!

PLAY BALL!!

Lukas' newest discovery is that he can hold a ball in his hand, eat it, throw it, hit it so it spins away, and when it does roll away he will track it with his eyes til it has disappeared under a table or behind a chair.

You'll see he's also experimenting with mittens and this hat even keeps his little ears warm in this "CoLD" (40-50 degrees) California weather!

Lukas getting a face/neck massage and thoroughly enjoying it!

Super Bowl. Little candy snitch! His favorite was swiveling the bowl in circles so that the last tootsie roll would screetch against the bowl like an old lady's fingernails on a chalkboard.
